Adsense and adwords……all about ‘adding’ more money for you
Besides joining affiliate programs on the net to make money, one can also make money with google. How?
With adsense and adwords. Let me explain them:
Google Adsense works like this: you sign up to it if you have a blog or a website. It’s FREE to join.After signing up, they will place ads on your blog or website. Those ads are the things that’ll make money for you. Each time someone clicks on those ads, google will pay you a few cents. So the more traffic (people viewing) you get on your site, the more those ‘cents’ will increase and make you money. Some people make a living just through adsense.
Google Adwords basically works like this: whereas adsense puts ads on your site or blog, adwords allows you to put ads on other sites or blogs besides yours.you also sign up for it, but this one is not free. So you sign up, fill in all your information and then set up a limit. Let’s say you want to spend R700 on Adwords. They have a system called CPC (cost-per-click). Let’s assume you set your cpc to be R4 per click. That would mean that 175 people would have click on your ad. Note they only charge you when people click on your ad. Adwords is a great advertising tool. But it is not the only one; there are other alternatives to adwords.
